This might just be the best selfie of the year. Brothers Michael and Neil Fletcher from Chelmsford, Ontario, were out shooting grouse when they stumbled upon an eagle that had its talon caught in a trap, according to local paper the Sudbury Star. After several attempts to free it, they finally calmed the bird by putting a hoodie over it before releasing the trap.
Once the eagle was freed, the pair posed with it for an awesome selfie. “I was surprised by the size, and that it’s such a beautiful bird. When you see the eyes up close, they’re really amazing,” said Michael.
